Strikes: Schools Minister Nick Gibb on pensions and retirement age

Schools Minister Nick Gibb was asked what areas were open to negotiation and compromise between the government and unions over pension changes, contributions and the retirement age.

He said the government wanted public sector workers to have "good quality pensions that are sustainable in the future".

Thursday's industrial action has shut schools across England and Wales, and disrupted services such as job centres and courts across the UK.
