Lobbyist Mark Adams speaking up for lobbying profession

Mark Adams spoke up for the lobbying profession, claiming it has no reason to be ashamed of its work.

He spoke after the government published its long-awaited plans for a statutory register after David Cameron said lobbying was "the next big scandal waiting to happen" in Westminster.

Mr Adams then debated his film in the studio with MPs Chris Grayling and Liam Byrne.

Each week, the Daily Politics offers a platform to a well-known person to make a film with their views on a subject before interviewing them in the studio.
