Budget: CBI's Cridland on tax rates, growth and deficit
The CBI director general has said the UK could not afford significant tax cuts in Wednesday's Budget as he called for "prudent and sensible" plans to cut the deficit and improve growth.
John Cridland was asked by Andrew Neil on the Sunday Politics to give marks out of ten for Chancellor George Osborne and the Business Secretary Vince Cable.
He spoke after interviews with Conservative MP John Redwood and Liberal Democrat Stephen Williams.
