The chancellor put a shine on his much-leaked Budget but author Owen Jones took a ride with "Gideon Cars" to explain how the speech showed it was a case of "same old Tories".

He claimed the average millionaire would be able to buy 288 bottles of the best champagne with money they would save after the cut in the top rate of tax.

He then debated his film with Andrew Neil, Michael Portillo and Alastair Campbell in the studio.
