Tory MEP leader Martin Callanan rules out UKIP pact
The leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group ruled out a pact with UKIP over joint candidates, that the anti-EU party is reported to be offering.
Conservative MEP Martin Callanan said they "might agree on some points, we disagree on others", and claimed voting for UKIP could let Labour win in some seats.
He said there was "hope in renegotiating our membership" of the EU and Britain benefited from the single market.
