Cabinet resignations: Jacqui Smith advice for ministers

The present government has seen a series of resignations and several of the top team have been under fire at one time since the coalition was formed.

Former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith had her own trouble at the top and recalled what it was like to be on the receiving end of bad press.

She remembered her past colleagues being sympathetic but appearing to say: "Thank goodness it's you, not me."
