SNP's Nato and defence policy for an independent Scotland
The defence question could be one of the trickiest for an independent Scotland, as the SNP has previously pledged to be nuclear-free and to leave Nato.
But the party could be changing its mind over Nato, and there are questions over the future of UK-based defence sites in Scotland, which could take years to relocate.
