Dorries in jungle celebrity TV show: Mullin and Letts

Appearing on the reality TV show I'm A Celebrity was "beneath the dignity of an elected representative" claimed former Labour MP Chris Mullin.

He spoke about the Conservative MP Nadine Dorries heading off to the Australian jungle for the ITV1 show, and said: "a bit of dignity is required".

The Daily Mail's Quentin Letts said she should reconsider her decision as it would "diminish her currency" and she would be "under-selling herself" by going on.

The Mid Bedfordshire MP could be in Australia for several weeks, missing votes in the House of Commons.
