Police and crime commissioner elections in England and Wales
Millions of voters across England and Wales get the chance to choose the first police and crime commissioners with elections in police force areas outside London next week.
The cross-bench peer and former senior civil servant Michael Bichard, Labour's Caroline Flint and Policing Minister Damian Green looked at the powers for those elected for the 41 posts.
There are claims that few voters are aware of the elections, the candidates and their powers with a low turnout expected.
