Falklands Islands referendum choice of UK and Argentina
The people of the Falkland Islands will decide in a referendum whether they want to remain British as Argentina tries to apply pressure on the UK to give them up.
Susana Mendonca looked into the archives and spoke to former newspaper editor Peter Preston who is calling for a rethink on the future of the islands in the south Atlantic because of the cost to Britain in financial and diplomatic terms.
