Tim Farron on Lib Dem polling and coalition future
The Liberal Democrats "could go down with the Tories" if they do not campaign as separate parties at election times, Tim Farron said.
The Lib Dem president reviewed recent polls and election results, and looked at the future for the coalition heading towards the 2015 general election.
He said it was "perfectly normal" for parties working together in power to fight each other on the doorstep, and his party had kept 100% to its principles, and got 65% of its policies through.
He spoke to Jo Coburn after watching a Daily Politics film looking at the fortunes of his party.
