Climate change debate: Matt Ridley and Greg Barker

Scientists on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change have published the first part of their fifth assessment report, setting out the state of scientific knowledge about climate change.

Matt Ridley, a Conservative peer, said the report showed "both extremes" of the argument were wrong, while Climate Change Minister Greg Barker said it showed that, without action, climate change would have a "massive impact on people".

They went over the report on the Daily Politics with journalists Polly Toynbee and Michael Brown.
