PMQs: Watson calls for fixed-odds betting machine ban
Fixed-odds betting machines have transformed local bookmakers into "High Street digital casinos" and should be banned, Tom Watson told the House of Commons.
The Labour MP called for the UK to follow Ireland's example and outlaw the "addictive machines".
David Cameron said he had been lobbied about this previously, and would to take a "proper look at this issue" to come up with a fair approach to "prevent problem gambling".
