Lord Rennard row: Sir Menzies Campbell on Lib Dem row
Sir Menzies Campbell. said the Lib Dem row over Lord Rennard allegations "can't go on and on and on".
The former party leader told BBC Two's Daily Politics that if he were to advise the peer he "would tell him not to come today", because of his fragile health.
He spoke minutes after the BBC's James Landale suggested the peer's health may delay his planned return to Westminster on Monday afternoon.
Allegations about Lord Rennard were investigated by Alistair Webster QC, who concluded they could not be proved beyond reasonable doubt.
