Mujeeb Bhutto not a Conservative says Shapps
A man who served as UKIP's former Commonwealth spokesman, revealed as a former leader of a kidnapping gang in Pakistan, is not now a member of the Conservatives, said Grant Shapps.
The Conservative Party chairman explained how Mujeeb Bhutto was a Tory member in 2008, before he left to join UKIP, and the party had blocked his bid to rejoin in the last few weeks.
On the Daily Politics, Jo Coburn asked Mr Shapps about Mr Bhutto receiving a welcome pack and a letter welcoming him on his return to the Conservatives.
