Tristram Hunt on Labour education and free schools plan
Labour should not "waste political energy on undoing reforms" by Michael Gove that were built on its party policy, said Tristram Hunt.
Speaking to Andrew Neil on the Sunday Politics, Labour's education spokesman was asked about party policy on free schools in England.
He said Labour did not want a "destructive market-driven approach" to education, and added that 250,000 new school places were needed, 150,000 in London alone.
