LabourList's Mark Ferguson on supporters' calls to party

Labour has been urged to take "real boldness" and to roll out policies ahead of the 2015 general election, and not rely on opponents tripping up, said Mark Ferguson of LabourList.

He was one of the signatories from a coalition of think tanks and party intellectuals in Monday's Guardian newspaper, external.

He called for more affordable homes, and child care and social care policy announcements, while adding that the Conservative Party "has never been consistently hopeless for five years."
