PMQs: Cameron and Miliband on NHS waiting times

Ed Miliband claimed David Cameron failed to answer directly his questions over waiting times for cancer patients, as he quoted the MacMillan and Cancer Research UK charities.

The prime minister defended government policy and said more people were being treated by an NHS that was the "best in the world", as they clashed on specific figures in England and Wales.

The pair continued to trade figures about waiting times, the numbers of doctors and nurses in the NHS, and the performance of the current and past government.

Mr Cameron tackled about the NHS by Labour MP Dennis Skinner.
