Victim and witnesses commissioner Newlove's first report
The Victims' Commissioner for England and Wales has published her first report on work to improve the way victims are treated by the criminal justice system.
Helen Newlove, a Tory peer whose husband Garry was murdered seven years outside their home by a gang of drunken youths, described her work in the government role and the improvements that have been made.
She told Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics: "There is further work to do, and you cannot fix this overnight."
But she described how victims were "really tired of being asked the same questions time and time again".
