Britain has some of the best political cartoonists and here are some of their most memorable cartoons from the past year.

Tim Benson, who runs the Political Cartoon Gallery, debated these images which feature in The Best of Britain's Political Cartoons 2014 book, on Thursday's Daily Politics which will be on iPlayer for 30 days.
