PMQs: Cameron on Northern and Great Western rail works
The prime minister faced questions about progress on railways improvements in the north of England and the electrification of the London to Swansea rail line.
David Cameron told Andrew Bingham that a new Northern franchise would lead to improved services and the end of Pacer trains.
And he told Nick Smith, who claimed work on the Great Western line was "slipping", that there was a record investment in rail, and that a Hitachi factory in County Durham, was manufacturing new trains for the network, supporting 700 jobs.
