Ex-UKIP leader sees interim deal as delaying Brexit

Any EU-UK interim arrangement would just be a way of postponing Brexit, says former UKIP leader Nigel Farage.

"I think we're seeing backsliding, I think we're seeing time delays, and I see transitional arrangements very much as being a part of that," he told Radio 4's The World at One.

Mr Farage added that the UK government needed to show "resolve", and suggested Prime Minister Theresa May should have triggered Article 50 "months ago".
