Labour: Police cuts make communities less safe
Labour is continuing to put pressure on Theresa May over her record while she was in charge at the Home Office.
The shadow justice secretary Richard Burgon told the Today programme the cuts in police have made communities less safe.
"Does it make communities safer to cut 20,000 police? No. Does it make communities safer to do security on the cheap in order to give those at the very top a tax cut? No," he said.
