Theresa May: We'll build on local election results

Theresa May has said she "won't be taking anything for granted" and promised to build on the Tories' local election showing.

She was speaking as she visited Conservative campaigners in the south London borough of Wandsworth, where the Tories saw off a challenge from Labour to retain control.

"This was one one of their top targets and they threw everything at it, but they failed," she said.
