Kate Green on reopening English schools in September

Schools have lacked the information and support they needed in the last few weeks, the shadow education secretary has said.

Kate Green claimed schools have “largely been left to get on with it” while the government was “totally pre-occupied with its exams fiasco".

She said the children “must go back to class next week”.
