Brexit: Boris Johnson on haulage firms and transition period

Boris Johnson has responded to The Road Haulage Association predicting Britain was "sleepwalking into a disaster" over border checks next year.

The prime minister said "we will get through this", and whatever the outcome of EU trade talks that "we will prosper mightily one way or the other".

The transition period ends on 31 December..
