Election 2021: Starmer wrong to 'scapegoat' Rayner

The Labour MP and former shadow chancellor, John McDonnell, says many feel it was unfair to "scapegoat" the party's campaign co-ordinator, Angela Rayner.

Speaking on the The Andrew Marr show, he said to sack her on the day when Labour was having mayoral successes and "recovering a bit" was a "huge mistake".
