Conservative conference: Boris Johnson on UK economy and levelling up

Boris Johnson has told his party conference this his government will get on with the job of "uniting and levelling up" across the UK.

He said the Britain had one of the "most imbalanced societies and lop-sided economies" of richer nations with "aching gaps within the regions themselves".
