Tory MP Andrew Bridgen: Boris Johnson will be gone by summer recess

If Boris Johnson does not resign then the party "will have to force him out", a Tory backbencher has said.

Andrew Bridgen predicted the prime minister would be gone before summer recess.

He said junior ministers were “being pushed out” to defend the prime minister, and he called Mr Johnson an “existential threat” to his party’s future.
