Liz Truss pressed on consent for fracking

Prime Minister Liz Truss has defended her support for fracking when asked about her pledge to obtain local consent for the controversial energy extraction method.

She told BBC Radio Lancashire that the energy secretary would set out the details of how local consent would be judged.
