Williamson texts: PM not aware of 'specific' exchange, says Oliver Dowden
The prime minister was not aware of the "specific messages" sent by Gavin Williamson, a cabinet minister has said.
Oliver Dowden was asked what No 10 knew about expletive-laden texts printed in The Sunday Times.
Rishi Sunak appointed Sir Gavin a minister of state at the Cabinet Office - a promotion for him after being a backbencher during Liz Truss' government.
