Tory MP tells Johnson not to be 'pound shop Farage'

A government minister has told the former prime minister not to emulate the ex-leader of UKIP and the Brexit Party.

Northern Ireland Minister Steve Baker said Boris Johnson should be remembered as a statesman rather than a "pound shop Nigel Farage".

Mr Farage later said on social media that the Tory MP for Wycombe had stopped being a Brexiteer.
