Sunak to be 'responsible' on public sector pay
Rishi Sunak has pledged to make the "right and responsible decisions" on public sector pay.
Speaking in a Nottingham hospital, he said the government needed to get a grip on inflation and that meant not "excessively borrowing too much money" and being responsible with wages rises in the NHS and for other public workers.
Junior doctors in England are planning a five-day walkout in July, the longest yet, over pay.
