SNP asks when UK government will take mortgages seriously?

Deputy Prime Minister, Oliver Dowden has during Prime Minister's Questions that "only by getting inflation under control" would mortgages start to fall and that such a development would need "discipline".

Mr Dowden was replying to SNP deputy leader Mhairi Black who claimed he had dismissed warnings of higher mortgages from her party.
