Sunak pressed on funding public sector pay rises
Visa application fees and the immigration health surcharge are going up "significantly", Rishi Sunak has said.
He told BBC political editor Chris Mason that would raise £1bn towards meeting some of the cost of public sector pay rises.
The prime minister said he was pleased teaching unions were calling off strike action, and that schools were getting extra money so they would not meet pay rise costs through cuts.
