Pothole repair bill hits £2.25bn
The cost of repairing Scotland's roads now stands at £2.25bn, according to spending watchdog Audit Scotland.
It said more than a third of Scotland's roads were in an unacceptable condition, despite an overall rise in spending on maintenance.
