Cairngorm rail consultation ends

A public consultation on the strict measures operating on the summit of the Cairngorms has ended.

Until now, sightseers have not been allowed to ride on the funicular railway and then walk to the summit.

A pilot scheme has been operating and the consultation has been considering whether to open up the summit to railway users.
