Storm force winds batter Scotland

Winds of 102mph have hit Scotland causing structural damage, bringing down trees and causing travel chaos.

Edinburgh's main train station has been closed as have several of the country's main road bridges.

The police and Scottish government have advised commuters to not make unnecessary journeys.
