Scotland's social care services 'unsustainable'
Current delivery of social work services in Scotland is unsustainable in the long term, says a spending watchdog.
The Accounts Commission has found that the annual bill has reached £3.1bn.
Financial pressures mean council social work departments are facing "significant challenges" and will require an additional £667m by 2020 unless new ways of delivering services are brought in.
The issue was raised during First Minister's Questions in the Scottish Parliament.
