Kezia Dugdale confident of more power for Scottish Labour

Kezia Dugdale has said that proposals to give the Scottish Labour Party more autonomy to set policy, select candidates and the power to choose a representative to the NEC are "the right thing for Scotland and the right thing for the whole party".

Sources have said a bid to stop the reforms was defeated.

The proposals will be voted on at the party's annual conference on Tuesday.

Ms Dugdale told BBC Scotland's political correspondent Nick Eardley that she is confident the reforms will be passed.
