Residents evacuated after Glasgow Indian restaurant fire

A major fire at an Indian restaurant in Glasgow has forced the evacuation of nearby residents.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze was affecting properties above the restaurant in the Govanhill area.

A total of 12 fire engines were sent to the scene in Victoria Road.
