The Northern Lights have put on an impressive display in the skies above Scotland.
The ethereal light display - also known as Aurora Borealis - was seen in areas including the Highlands, Moray and Aberdeenshire over the weekend.
Eye-catching images of the natural phenomenon were captured by photographers including BBC Weather Watchers.
