Historic Dumfries fountain springs back to life
A 140-year-old fountain at the centre of Dumfries is flowing again after a major restoration.
The town fountain - described as its "jewel in the crown" - had fallen on hard times and was starting to look a bit lacklustre.
However, it has now been dismantled, temporarily removed, upgraded and put back in pride of place.
