Poppy roof mural marks Remembrance weekend

As Remembrance events are marked across the country this weekend, an intricate poppy design has been unveiled on an Inverness rooftop.

The slate mural, created on the roof of an Army-owned community centre, depicts a soldier inside a poppy.

Roofers Gary McIntyre and Conor Farmer designed the tribute, with local businesses donating more than £30,000 worth of materials.
