Granton shooting: Videos show Marc Webley taunting rivals ahead of pub murder

Social media videos have emerged showing a man taunting his rivals ahead of his murder at an Edinburgh pub on Hogmanay.

Marc Webley was shot outside the Anchor Inn pub in Granton just before midnight on 31 December.

He had previously posted videos on social media daring his rivals to come and get him.

The 38-year-old had a history of involvement in gangland violence. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison, external for attempted murder in 2005.

Mr Webley, who was 19 at the time, shot another man in what was described as a failed gangland hit.
