Police are investigating what they described as two related deaths in different Fife towns.

Fife Constabulary said they responded to morning calls from members of the public over deaths in Findlay Street, Rosyth, and Letham Way, Dalgety Bay.

They are keen to speak to anyone who heard a disturbance in Findlay Street.

Ch Insp Chris Stones said: "Inquiries are still ongoing and police wish to reassure that there is no risk to public safety."

He added: "Efforts are under way to contact next of kin."

While they have appealed for witnesses, police have not released details of the ages and gender of the people involved.

"Police are keen to talk to anyone who was in the Findlay Street, Rosyth, area around 1am this morning and who heard any disturbance or saw anyone leaving the area around this time," they stated.
