Man charged over fires at Sikh temple and Methodist Church

A man has been charged in connection with suspicious fires at a Sikh temple and a Methodist church in Edinburgh which were started on the same day.
The incident at the Guru Nanak Gurdwara Sahib on Sheriff Brae, Leith, happened shortly after 05:00 on Tuesday.
Police have now confirmed the same man is accused of a second suspicious fire, at the Methodist Church in Junction Place, which was discovered at 07:00
The 49-year-old will appear before Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday.
