Fife resident wakes up "two to three feet" of water in his bedroom
A Fife resident woke up to discover "two to three feet" of water in his bedroom after his home was flooded during Storm Gerrit.
Matthew Hooper, of Cupar, Fife, had to be rescued from his property by emergency services.
He said: "I’m thinking most things in my lounge will be gone, which is obviously not what you want to wake up to after Christmas.
"It was shocking, because when I went to bed last night there was no sign of any rain."
It comes as a yellow weather warning brought snow, high winds and flooding to many areas of Scotland.
