Police name driver killed in crash with HGV in Lesmahagow

A 22-year-old man who died in a crash between a car and a lorry in South Lanarkshire has been named by police.
Blane Rundell was driving a Suzuki Alto that was in a collision with the HGV north of Kerse Roundabout near Lesmahagow last Thursday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with a road traffic offence.
Police Scotland Sgt Chris McColm said: "Our thoughts are with Blane's family at this very difficult time."
The force said is was continuing to work to establish the full circumstances and urged anyone with information to get in touch, external.
