Police have said they are "extremely concerned" about a woman who went missing from Ayr more than two weeks ago.
Laura Wilkie, 43, was last seen sitting on a bench near the town's Millennium Bridge at about 20:30 on 18 December.
She is described as being 5ft 4ins tall and slim with greying, closely cropped hair. She is said to have walked with a distinctive blue cane.
Air, dive and marine units have been involved in the Police Scotland search.
Chief Inspector Kevin Lammie, local area commander, said: "Laura isn't known to travel far from home and goes out in the Ayr, Ayr beach and Doonfoot areas."
He added: "It is completely out of character for Laura not to keep in contact with her family and this is a very upsetting time for them.
"As time passes, we are extremely concerned for Laura's safety and wellbeing."
Ms Wilkie was wearing a dark padded coat with a beige fur-trimmed hood and another dark waterproof coat over it.
She was also wearing black leggings, black shoes and carrying a black rucksack. Police 'extremely concerned' for missing woman
